The Writing Journey

I Even Forgot To Title It…

Remember I talked about the whirlwind in a previous post? Now I’m going to give you an update on what has been going on so you too will be in the know.

First thing is first, I’m in Lagos, Nigeria. The reason for my visit apart from seeing family and friends is the premiere of my movie #TemptingFate. My husband wrote & directed the movie I worked as a producer…I earned that title..LOL. The movie will show in Nigerian theaters nationwide on July 17th. If you are in Nigeria, make it a date.

Speaking of Sons of Ishmael, Anchored By Love which is the second book in the series, is in the proof reading stage but I need to tighten up the end.It should be available for pre order late August hoping to release in October 2015.

Anchored by Love

Here is the synopsis:

One request changed everything forever…again

When Jabir Danjuma met Damisi Odinga years ago, it wasn’t necessarily love at first sight. However, their attraction can’t be denied. Just as he begins to feel the forbidden emotion, Damisi breaks up with him and moves half way across the world. Now, Damisi has a request that only Jabir could fulfill. Their encounter sets off a series of events that leave them both with fresh pain and hurt. They vow never to see each other again, but fate has a different idea. Will they stick it out long enough for the Potter to perfect their scars and pain for His purpose or will distance and time steal the day.

I  shared the first chapter of the book with my newsletter subscribers last month and I’ll share more chapters soon, to get it sign up here

Lastly, I’d like to announce that my books are now available on Jumai Nigeria online. If you’re in Nigeria, you can now order from Jumai and it gets shipped to you anywhere in the country.

I’d like to say thank you for your support of my work. I couldn’t do this without you, sounds like cliche but it is so so true.

Be Blessed.

PS: This post went on for weeks without a title…hence the title
