Afro Luv Bugs… that’s the pet name for my readers. A few years ago, while thinking of my first novel, An Unexpected Blessing, I realized that apart from Alex Montgomery, I don’t have any other Black American heros. Now, while in and of itself that isn’t a problem, because my brand is specific to African characters and Africa, however, African do not exist in silos. That got me to thinking…so, I asked my readers in a survey about the multicultural pairing.
They loved it.
In honor of my readers, the Afro Luv Bite collection was born. Sweet/inspirational novels/novellas featuring a main character from the Black Diaspora. It won’t be a U.N book if said character doesn’t have an affiliation with Africa 🙂
