Hey there!
This month/year marks fourteen years since I published my first book. Thirty plus titles into a backlist I’m proud of. And if you’d asked me a year ago what I’d release to mark this anniversary, I wouldn’t have told you it was three short stories about a firefighter, a translator, and a quiet woman who does nothing but stay.
Three in Three Days asks one question: what if the resurrection weekend happened right now, to people who feel like people you actually know?

Pita denies the truth in the one moment it matters most. Judah trades a friendship for peace and finds none. Amara does nothing but stay, and becomes the first to witness what none of them expected.
Same weekend. Three people, utterly changed by what they did, and didn’t, do.

I wrote this because I believe the oldest stories are often the truest mirrors for the newest kinds of pain. And also because I needed reminding that grace doesn’t wait for us to deserve it. It just shows up. Even in the margins. Even after the worst thing we’ve done.
Fourteen years in, this felt like the right way to mark it.
Three in Three Days is free for subscribers. Three linked short stories about one weekend that changes everything. I hope it stirs something in you the way it stirred something in me.
