Happy Thanksgiving Friends!!
God created us to be thankful. We are happiest when we wake each day praising Him for our salvation and all the little things that He has afforded us in our life. For another chance and the people in our lives.
Growing up in Nigeria, we didn’t have a special day set aside for giving thanks. The closest thing we had was like a Thanksgiving service which is called Bazaar. In my book The Final Ultimatum, you get to read about a Bazaar that Olanma and her grandmother cooked for.
Anyway since moving back to the U. S over twenty years ago, I’ve governed myself accordingly :-). My thanksgiving is never a big occasion but it is intimate and fun. I love getting to kick back and just reflect. For me it also marks the countdown to the end of the year.
A huge part of my thank to God is for each and everyone of you.
