Where My Words Have Been Living Lately

Hey there!

If you’ve been here a while, you might have noticed something. This space has been quieter. Not empty, just quieter. As a matter of fact, life has been quieter and slower for me for several months now.

That’s not because I stopped writing. It’s because some of my writing has been living somewhere new lately, in a space that feels a little more like a that a stage. Although this stage will always be home!

I’ve been sharing essays, reflections, and very short fiction on…yeah you guessed it… Substack. Yeah, I’m back there (thankful I never closed my page) These essays are written slowly, gently and from a place of ‘Becoming’ in the same voice you know from here.

I didn’t move because I wanted to abandon this place. I moved because I needed a room that could hold a different kind of pace. And now I want you to know where some of my words have been going.

The Becoming Essays

These are reflective pieces. They contain faith, life, becoming, healing, and learning how to live gently in seasons that don’t rush clarity.

They’re not sermons. They’re not answers. They’re me sitting with questions, naming what I notice, and letting faith breathe without performance or expected outcomes. If you’ve ever felt like life changed you before you were ready, those essays will probably feel familiar.

The Fiction

I still tell stories. Not in novels right now, but in short scenes, vignettes, moments that sit inside a feeling instead of racing toward a plot.

They’re quiet pieces. Small moments. People standing in doorways, kitchens, memories. If you like stories that feel like pauses, not productions, you might like those.

The Gentle Notes

Some days I don’t write long things. I just leave a few sentences for conversation. This is still my home. Substack is just another room I’ve been using. You don’t have to follow me there. You don’t even have to read & comment on everything, although I’ll appreciate it (insert winking emoji.)You don’t owe me attention.

But if you’ve ever wondered where some of my words have gone, now you know. They words are still mine. They’re still yours if you want them. They’re just living in a slightly different place for a while.

And wherever you meet me…here, there, or if only sometimes, I’m grateful you’ve been reading at all.

Peace & Blessings
