Hey there!
Threads of Destiny will be released very soon, and I thought it would be fun to hear what Orefi & Qadir have to say. My characters are real people in my head, and you can’t tell me anything different…LOL
Enjoy!

The car hummed steadily as we navigated the bustling streets of Lagos. Inside the sleek, black SUV, everything felt calm and controlled despite the chaotic traffic outside. The air conditioning was a relief from the heat, and the soft leather seats absorbed any tension. I could feel the city’s energy just beyond the windows, but inside, it was just me and Orefi Agada, her presence commanding.

As we moved through the crowded streets, she blended seamlessly into the fast-paced Lagosian landscape. Her expression remained unchanged, exuding a quiet intensity and power in her silence.

Zara: Orefi, as the CEO of Ziedu Fashions, you’ve built an empire that blends modern elegance with deep cultural heritage. What’s been your proudest moment so far?
Orefi: Pride is fleeting. I focus on impact. But if I had to choose, it would be expanding Ziedu into European luxury markets while still keeping our identity rooted in African craftsmanship. Success isn’t just about making a name, it’s about making a difference.
Zara: You’ve always been fiercely independent. How do you feel about your upcoming marriage to Qadir Adesina?
Orefi: (Pauses, then smiles coolly) Marriage is an alliance. A strategic one. And in our world, strategy is everything.
Zara: Be honest, what’s the first word that comes to mind when you think of Qadir?
Orefi: (laughs softly, but there’s something sharp in her gaze) Persistent.

Beside me stood Qadir Adesina, exuding quiet authority. Tall and always in control, he embodied sharp precision in his tailored polo shirt.
