Hey there!
It seems I haven’t done one of these samples in a while. Since I’m working on a few things at the moment, seems like the perfect time to do one. Let’s start with my latest short story The Valentine Auction.
The Valentine Auction features Ladi Giwa and Ebuka Braitwaite.

“I’ve always wanted to travel,” she admitted, setting her glass down carefully. “Not just weekend trips or vacations but really go somewhere—immerse myself in places I’ve only read about, get lost in a city where no one knows my name.” She let out a small, breathy laugh, shaking her head. “But that’s a dream for someone braver than me.”
Ebuka’s brow lifted, and before she could glance away, he reached across the table, his fingers grazing the back of her hand. His touch was warm, grounding, and it sent a shiver skimming up her spine.
“Bravery isn’t the absence of fear,” he said, his voice low, intimate. “It’s doing it anyway.”

Next up is my upcoming novel, Threads of Destiny. This novel is now available for preorder. Here

“I don’t know. I haven’t heard from her in two weeks. After two declined lunch invitations, I let her be.” Qadir picked up the remote and leaned back on the couch in his living room.
A blend of modern sophistication and comfortable elegance, the large, open space was anchored by a sleek, sectional sofa upholstered in rich, dark leather that invited relaxation. On one wall, a state-of-the-art, flat-screen TV dominated the space, currently showing a lively football game. His home was his castle, and it was where he was most at peace.
After two international trips, he was finally back in the country and talking about Orefi wasn’t something he wanted to do. Qasif, his second youngest brother, was visiting from Atlanta and with all the gossip and speculation surrounding him and Orefi stepping out together, Qasif wanted to know the story behind it.
The gala was two weeks ago and like he told ‘Sif earlier, she needed him just as much as he needed her. So, he wasn’t about to chase her around Lagos as though he didn’t have things to do.
“It sounds like she’s feeling some kind of way about Ayo. You know your ex is mean as heck,” ‘Sif said.
“If Ayo can run her off, then she ain’t ready to be with me. On the daily, I fight battles left and right. My partner must be someone who can hold their own. Pick up the sword when I’m down. If I wanted someone who would constantly be crying on my shoulder or shying away from challenges, I’d still be with Ayo.”
You can preorder Threads of Destiny here.
Before you go, I wanted to remind you of a few things…Game of Two Halves in now in Kindle Unlimited. It was also nominated in the Best Sports Romance Category for an It’s Lit Award by Black Girls Who Write.
I will greatly appreciate your vote. Here
