A Year of Faith, Love, and Writing
2024 has been a year of growth, challenges, and beautiful stories. Through it all, I’m still navigating this grief journey. I’ll admit it getting easier learning to live with my new normal. From releasing Serendipitous Encounter, my first short of the year to connecting with so many of you through my books, this year has been full of moments that have reminded me why I do what I do.

I had so many highlights but two of my favorites were launching Viva City and writing the conclusion of the DuBois-Arazi series. I also introduced a new series, well the prequel actually…Threads of Destiny, Orefi and Qadir’s story, where love and legacy collide in the vibrant heart of Lagos. Their story is the opener to the Sins of the Father series and was an exclusive. But their journey is coming to everyone soon. Oh…can’t wait. I have big plans for 2025!
But before we talk about the new year, let’s take a moment to reflect on what made 2024 special:
💕I released my 27th book: an opposite attract, sports ⚽️ romance, Game of Two Halves
💕I released an exclusive short story, Serendipitous Encounter. Out of that came Vanishing Shadows (I need to finish editing it🤦🏾♀️😊)
💕I won an award for Best Holiday Romance with Holiday Hideaway.
💕I created & released my first magazine, Lime Light. It was first featured in my novel #TheFinalUltimatum which I wrote in 2016. It is owned by Olanma Rice, CEO of Obinze Oil & Gas and wife of billionaire developer, Abayomi Rice.
💕Legacy Fulfilled came in next and with that, the DuBois-Arazi series was complete. Of course, we’ll see them in cameos in the UN Universe and visit Tweedes but the stories are done.
💕With Legacy Fulfilled came Flavors of Us, a mini cookbook that readers absolutely loved. I’ve been asked for a cookbook with the food in my books for a while but that isn’t my ministry, so this is as close as I’m gonna get.
💕Then lo and behold, I was nominated for and won three…let me repeat that, three BRAB awards. I always say I write for me. I write what I enjoy and ever since I typed my first word, eleven years ago, I’ve been committed to sharing stories of faith, romance sprinkled with African spice and I’m so honored that others enjoy my work as well.

💕In rapid succession, I released two shorts, Autumn’s Grace in Fall and Billionaire’s Bet for Thanksgiving. I capped of the year with another visit to Luxe Noir with Tangled in Christmas.
I want to take this moment to thank YOU—my readers. Whether you’ve read one book or all of them, left a review, or just stopped by my blog, you’ve made this year so special. Your support and encouragement are a blessing, and I’m so grateful for you.
On a personal note, I had a kid graduate middle school, so both kiddos are now in High School, I attended my hubby’s family reunion in H Town and celebrated my golden jubilee in Cancun a few days ago.

As we close out 2024, I wanted to leave you with a little gift…On New Year’s Eve, I’ll be releasing Scoring at Midnight, a short featuring …. why don’t I let you guess. The story will be live on my new Substack platform, and I can’t wait for you to read it!
Here is to bigger and better for us all as we step into the new year.
Peace & Blessings,
Unoma

Thank you. The novels that I had to buy in print format were the older books, because I decided I would go back and read every book you published.
Happy New Year!
Even my older books are in digital format. Everything I’ve written.
Ma’am, you have just improved my whole life! I had been trying to buy some books thru my iPhone Kindle App and would get the message that the format was not supported. After reading your response, I logged into my Amazon account and looked for books, and I have now repurchased them as a Kindle edition, and will donate my printed books. So many books I have declined reading because of that message. All I needed to do was logged in and complete the purchase. I’m a happy-happy!
Thank you very much,
I’m glad
I will not be avail to watch the live segment – but will the short read be made available in the Kindle App? Another inquiring minds question – I’ll ask you because I have a higher chance of getting an answer that I will understand.
Now that own a Kindle, it is my preferred reading format. Some authors do not offer their book(s) or Amazon doesn’t offer the book in Kindle format. Is there a big secret for this? After all, we are in a digital society, and some books that I would read, are only avail in printed copy. While, I’ve made an exception and purchased your printed books, the challenge is that I own them, but don’t get around to reading them. But on other authors, once I see the book is only avail in print, I scratch it from my “want to read” list. What is your plan moving forward for all of your releases to be available digitally?
Thank you for the hours of endless reading enjoyment.
A true fan,
Thank you so much for your contribution to my book world. Your encouraging words always are a balm to my soul. For the short story, it wont be “live”, It will be posted on Substack( I’ll share the link for all) so it’s electronic all you have to do it subscribe. Just like reading a short story here on my blog. All my books are in Kindle format…all of them..so if you dont see a book of mine on kindle let me know. That should not be the case.
