Hey there! It’s been a minute. I know I say that a lot but I know y’all forgive me because life happens.
I haven’t been idle though, just busy writing and living. Okay let’s get into what I want to talk to you about today. God’s timing…
Chapter 14 of my book In The Dark talks about seasons of business. We more often than not compare our planting season to another’s harvest season. In my devotional this morning I read this and decided to share. It’s exactly what I aimed at portraying for #Christianpreneurs •
Do I claim to have mastered it all? No. But I’ve mastered enough to empower and encourage those who are going through the wildernesses or pastures. There’s no benefit in what I’ve learned if I don’t teach/share with other’s. I love my fictional characters but I’m also an entrepreneur and I go through, gains, loses and the wait/process in between. Here’s the excerpt.
“The same is true for God’s timing and our preparation. Our job is to not run ahead of Him or lag behind. We should take natural, commonsense steps that are in line with His Word so we will be ready when He delivers our heart’s desire. As we step out in faith, He will show us the way by either opening doors or closing them. Sometimes that will require we do a new thing, and sometimes it means doing what we already know to do.”
Just a thought, if David has become a King when he was anointed, he might not have been the greatest psalmist known to man.

Verse is taken from 2 Corinthians 10 4-5 the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ
Limiting belief are those thoughts and beliefs that hold us back. They do this by making us live less of an life that we should. It has to do with the way we see ourselves and or think of the way others see us. The issue with this is that these beliefs are all in our imagination.
Ex Not enough time, procrastinator, resources, lack motivation. These are all thoughts that resided in our minds that we allow to take over and halt us.
So lets break down the verse we just read or the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;
- Casting down imaginations… What are those things that are not even true you keep thinking about?
- Every that exults itself higher than the knowledge of God…What are you dwelling on that is in total contradiction to the nature of who God is.
- Bring those thoughts into Obedience of Christ.

Hope in God comes from the ability to turn the bad thought in your dark, grey or meantime places, good.
Anchor Verse: His strength is made perfect in my weakness.

Today, I’d like to share a snippet from Chapter 1 of In the Dark. Aptly titled My Jonah Moment,
“While in the vineyard, long periods of wait created a constant struggle between having Jesus in my heart and the enemy’s voice attacking my mind. Fear, doubt, despair, unforgiveness even anger at God. Why didn’t He answer me NOW?”
⚓️Learning how to wait is crucial for spiritual growth. But as Christians we feel we can’t admit that we fall short.
⚓️Owning your struggle and seeking Him for help is the only way to remain anchored in truth and hope.
📚In the Dark shows you how to wait and intentionally fix your mind on Him alone.
