It’s Monday! Don’t forget to be awesome.
Last week, I launched my much talked about Anchor Talk Podcast. I have been wanting to do this for a while and finally. So yay! Me and yay! you for being there to support the show.
Just for you, I have put together week one for you to review in one blog post.
In this episode of #AnchorTalk I give you background behind the show.
We also take a look at Acts 27. Paul was on a ship being taken as a prisoner to Rome. Storms hit making it the most famous shipwreck in the Bible.🙂 Even as a prisoner he remained calm and anchored. Why?
“Yet now I urge you to take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship. For this very night there stood before me an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I worship, and he said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before Caesar. And behold, God has granted you all those who sail with you.’ So take heart, men, for I have faith in God that it will be exactly as I have been told.” Acts 27:22-25
How do you respond to God’s love? Hope and Faith in Him.
We do that for mere mortal when they do something for us. They gain our trust through deeds.
Christ death on the cross is the greatest deed of all. Do you trust Him through the dark? Do you trust Him to anchor you no matter what?
You should. He has you inscribed in the Psalm of His hands.
Anchor Talk in it’s initial 8 weeks will air twice a week. Tuesdays and Friday
Here are some reviews

It’s hers finally and I am so excited!! Anchor Talk launches today!!
I have been talking about starting a Podcast since the idea to write my first non fiction book took root. My book In the Dark: Confident Expectations for Today and Tommorrow is the bedrock for this podcast and my ministry.
The purpose journey of life is not a sprint but a marathon. During life’s journey of purpose you are bound to be met with various obstacles. My passion is to champion you through the uncertainty, the discomfort, the pain and fear especially when you have no idea what God’s end game is.
In this episode, you’ll be able to listen to the story behind this theme, share in the story of the Bible’s most prominent ship wreck and leave equipped with Anchor Scripture to keep you steady until we talk again.
I intended “Anchor Talk “to be an intimate conversation between you and me. A place where our vulnerabilities, insecurities and everlasting hope in God lay bare.
