2014~ My Writing Goals

Hey everyone, the second week of the year. What’s the outlook? Did you write those goals down?  I believe in writing my goals down and I do pretty good with that.
Normally by the beginning of the year I would tell my readers/followers what to expect. Well its the 10th and I haven’t done that…why? Fear of being held accountable because I have so much I want to get accomplished.
Tonight I’m writing it down and sharing and I hope you all keep me accountable.

Reading

With that being said. I decided to take part in a Goodreads reading challenge. I would read 36 books this year by the grace of God. I have three books down already. To take part or see the challenge click here

Right now I’m reading Never Say Never by Victoria Christopher Murray.

I have also committed to actively reviewing everything I read on my blog.Do you have a recommendation for me? Let me know.

Writing

This year I’m hard at work. I aim at pushing myself further while still committed to the best quality possible. For right now, this is what my calendar looks like #prayforme

  2. Great goals! Good Reads will be a good break. When I have multiple book projects going on… it’s only a matter of time before i completely burn out! A few good books is always a good cure.

    1. Thank you! Yes those reading breaks will be my release. Hope I don’t get too caught up in them that I don’t write. When I grab a good book,I tend to go in…lol. Thanks again for stopping by.

      3. Have you read Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers? It’s a modern day retelling of the book of Hosea. If you have never read it and want a challenging read, Lolita by Nabokov is good if you can get through the disturbing theme.

      5. Oh, yes. Then you should avoid Lolita! lol Lolita was very hard to get through. It’s considered a masterpiece as you probably know.. but it’s about a step dad infatuated with his young step daughter in very WRONG ways. It’s so believable that it took me a VERY long time to finish. It is indeed disturbing! Francine Rivers on the other hand… disturbing at first, I won’t lie. But so worth the rest of the story.
